As part of the federal government’s education investment fund, the Charles Perkins Centre will provide a world class research facility in the area of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
Surface Design have been engaged as the project facade engineer and have worked in conjunction with Brookfield Multiplex and the projects remarkable architect, FJMT, to develop a unique, sleek facade design to compliment the surrounding sandstone buildings with a modern touch.
The team are currently undertaking prototyping and testing if the facade design as well as verification of selected sandstone cladding materials and detailing.
