The Park Lane development consists of two multi- storey residential buildings which was the second stage of the Central Park precinct in Chippendale, NSW. The buildings are nine and nineteen storeys offering 393 apartments to this site and included retail and commercial facilities that will support the population.
Surface Design was engaged by Watpac Constructions to provide Sustainable and Façade Design services. The project achieved a 5 star Green Star Multi-Residential v1 Design rating in 2013. The project was designed to incorporate a number of environmental design initiatives supported by the central services of a central thermal plant facility and recycled water treatment plant supporting a number of water demands throughout the development. Sustainability initiatives targeted for the project were developed to promote energy and water efficiency and indoor comfort for residents.
